Dr. Barbara Haxby
A Colorado native, Dr. Barbara Haxby ventured to California in 1990 and has been a member of the Danville Vet Hospital ever since.
Dr. Haxby grew up in Lakewood, Colo. and attended Colorado State University. She was graduated in 1986 and earned a bachelor's degree in animal science. She went on to the Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine and received her veterinary medicine degree in 1990.
Dr. Haxby is interested in general medicine, ultrasound and surgery. She is continuing her education in abdominal and cardiac ultrasound, and is also a Level II certified Reiki practitioner.
Dr. Haxby is the proud owner of an Australian cattle dog, four horses and "many cats." In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, horseback riding, boating, photography, artwork and tile work.
